The Royal Yachts Crowning Glory Now Completed
The Royal Yacht, permanently berthed in Edinburgh and featured on our Venues page, have recently completed their stunning Royal Deck development which is now available for spectacular entertaining.
Traditionally, the Royal Deck, one of the highest decks on board, would be covered with an awning and used by the Royal Family for cocktail parties, receptions and deck games. The deck has been brought back into use as a striking new room for dinners and receptions to complement those currently hosted in the State Apartments. The historic appearance of the Royal Deck has been re-created with an awning-style roof, glass walls and teak deck.
Glittering receptions and dinners are already held in the State Drawing Room and Dining Room on board. The Royal Deck has brought the venue’s dining capacity up to 176 and receptions up to 380, when used with the State Apartments. There are many options to choose from to make it an extraordinary evening, including the venue’s new evening option, Dancing by Moonlight, which gives guests the opportunity to dance the night away to a ceilidh or jazz and swing band in the Royal Deck.
